Pioneer Works Center for Art and Innovation, promotes the creation of and participation in the arts and sciences. Pioneer Works functions as a hub for the incubation of contemporary culture through exhibitions, studio residencies, an arts and culture magazine, and a lecture and workshop series.

We're really excited to announce that we've been included in the new Design Brooklyn book coming out this October through Abrams Books.

Design Brooklyn is a visual exploration of the unique and diverse architecture, interiors, and design of public and private spaces in today’s Brooklyn, from mechanics’ shops renovated into restaurants, to newly built museums, to restored brownstones and modern townhouses. Chapters focusing on renovation, restoration, innovation, and industry come to life with more than 150 original photographs representing various neighborhoods and trends. Including studies of the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s newest addition, Fort Greene Park, and Boerum Hill’s Flavor Paper, Design Brooklyn will appeal to anyone interested in urban living, design, and trendsetting Brooklyn style.

Celebrating the fine spring weather and one year in business, the Rucola kitchen staff ventured to a secret location in upstate New York for the annual Ramp Hunt. We picked a huge bounty of fresh, delicious ramps which will be on our menu for a limited time. Please come and enjoy our latest pasta dish, the Strozzapreti—Sautéed ramps, stracciatella, and toasted bread crumbs.

The annual ramp hunt will be held on Monday, April 16th. Come by all week for fresh and tasty ramp dishes.
